730 Days and counting...

On Monday Michael and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary! We were going to go to our usual place, Texas Roadhouse, but in cleaning out the freezer the night before we found steaks that we had forgotten about! So we celebrated with a night in! It couldn't have been a better night and I look forward to many more anniversaries with Michael!

When you think Tim McGraw...

My sister, Biggie and I had the pleasure of seeing the MOST beautiful man in person for almost 3 hours this last Thursday! I have been a HUGE Tim McGraw fan since I was in middle school! I have every one of his albums, a mouse pad (that has a bud light logo on it, how appropriate is that for a middle-schooler!?) and I know every single one of his songs!

Lady Antebellum opened for him while he was throwing the first pitch at the Tulsa Drillers game. Here are a few pictures from the best night ever!!

Softball?

Michael and I started playing Co-Rec Slowpitch Softball with our neighbors and some other friends. It is a 6 week "season" we play 2 games every Monday night for an hour each. We lost both our games tonight but I have to say we only lost by less than 5 both games and that is pretty good for our first games! We had a really good time and it was out of our normal routine and we loved it!

We had NOTHING to do with our team name! :)


Michael is the oldest person on the team and all my babies can't say my name so they call me Heder!

Blogger's Block

I have been thinking "Oh I need to blog, I give people a hard time when they don't update their blog! But what do I say?" I just feel like I don't have much to talk about lately. So I will give you a Monthly play-by-play as to what has happened in our lives over the past 2 1/2 months.

January

Michael started his new job at Newfield Exploration. He went on an interview in early October and we played the waiting game until 2 weeks before Christmas, when they called and offered him the job! He is learning how to be a Division Order Analyst (no clue what that means!) Here is Michael on his first day!

Done alot of this of the past few months...

**I'm babysitting if you can't tell! :-) I watch the CUTEST girls! I love spending time with them and I am grateful their mom and dad like to go out a lot so the girls and I get time to play!**

March:

Our little Niece Elli turned 1 on March 6th. I posted about her BIRTHday here!

It is hard to believe that Stephanie (her mom) and I have been friends for over 18 years now! It is so crazy to imagine that we are married and starting families (well Stephanie is, anyway). Here are a few pictures from Ellie's 1st Birthday Party.







We are very lucky to have such fun neighbors! We have 3 other couples on our block that are recently married or getting married within the next several months. One of the couples Kellen and Lindsey are getting married this coming Saturday and they had their Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties on the same night last weekend. I am pretty sure a good time was had by all!! ;-) The details are a secret!

Carisa (our neighbors to the North of us) loves to take pictures just as much as I do! Shocking I know because I take A LOT of pictures! We tried to get a neighbor girls picture and we couldn't do it we were laughing to hard! So here it is!

Well I guess that's it for now! Sester's Birthday, Kellen & Lindsey's wedding and our good friends Cara & Melvin are moving ALL this weekend! So I have NO excuse not to blog!

My sorority sister's parents are starting up a photography business, so when we were in OKC to see our friends Kaylyn and Deren get married we decided to have our pictures taken for our christmas cards. Happy 26th Birthday to me!

I know I am about 21 days late on posting about my birthday but December has flown by!

Cara and Kara told me we were going to dinner for my birthday just the 3 of us. I asked Michael why he wasn't coming and he said that they just wanted it to be us three and he really didn't want to be the only boy at dinner (hint, hint: he didn't really want to go). So the girls come pick me up for dinner and we are supposed to go get mani's and pedi's but Friday traffic was horrible and the place was closed by the time we got there. So we went to Utica and walked around looked at the lights, got hot chocolate and then went and looked at lights around the neighborhood by Utica, at this point I was STARVING and didn't know why we weren't eating!! :) After about 20 mins of driving Cara said "OK let's go eat!" Praise God! I was starving! So we then proceed to go back to Utica (at this point I am confused but thinking something is up) and we walk into PF Chang's and there is a table of family and friends singing Happy Birthday to me! I was surprised and so blessed that Kara, Cara and Michael pulled this off! I had a great time getting to see and talk to everyone and I wish everyone could have been there! I wish all of my friends lived in Tulsa and we were never apart!

I wished for him on my 18th Birthday!
