Lucky in friendship!

While Michael, Susan and their dad spent St. Patty's Day with the amazing Billy Joel & Elton John (I know poor Michael), I spent St. Patty's Day with some of my best friends! Since we are all out of Stillwater and doing our "grown-up" things and some of us were on spring break and home from our traveling jobs we all decided to meet in Tulsa to go to dinner and catch up on everyone!

I have to say I have some of the most AMAZING friends and each of them holds a special place in my heart!

Frame us a house!

I have been house/dog sitting all week and haven't been able to drive by our lot since last Friday. Michael drove by on Monday and they hadn't done anything yet, so he told himself he wouldn't drive by until Friday. With some eye batting and pretty pleases I had him drive by on Wednesday night, there were big piles of wood in the yard! I was excited because I figured that meant that by Friday or Monday we would have a frame. Michael and I drove by our lot today about 3:30 and this is what we saw......

Can you believe it?!!?!? They did this in half a day!!! WOO HOO!!! I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Girls Night Out!

Wine, Pottery & Cowboy Basketball what more could you want for a girls night?! Nothing!! Purple Glaze in Tulsa has Date Night on Friday nights and us girls plus Savannah's friend Nic decided that we would try our hand in free art and make some pottery! I have to say that is was very relaxing and we all did a pretty good job. I made a rock that will go in our front garden with Pistol Pete on it, Savannah made a plate, Susan did a flower pot & Nic made a dog treat bowl for her dog.

Ellie Ann is here!!

SHE IS HERE!!!!

Ellia Ann Powell was born at 6:02am. Weighing 7lbs 15oz and 20 1/4 inches long! Mom and Ellie are doing great!!!
Cheryl (grandma) called me at 6:00am to tell me they were headed to labor and delivery and then Steph called me at 6:30am and told me they had a baby!!!! It was everything I could do not to get up and head to the hospital! But my co-teacher and 16 preschoolers depend on me! After school I went and picked up Michael and met Hanna at the hospital. OMG! Ellie is soooooo adorable!!! I can't wait to spoil her! She has long fingers and long feet and when she cries her bottom lip quivers!!! I could just eat her up!!!

Ellie has the coolest birthday! 03-06-09

Please keep Stephanie & Ellie in your prayers! Everyone is healthy and doing great!!

Can we get some foundation!?

Since Michael has been home all week he is stalking our house progress! He drove by yesterday and the had the steaks and boards outlining where the house will be. He and Gizmo walked over there today (yes you read that right, walked! It's about a 1.5 walk from our current house to our new house) and they were finishing up on the plumbing!! You know what that means next....FOUNDATION!!!! Those words are music to our ears!!! That means that once the foundation is dry we will be in our house in 75-90 days! WOO HOO!!!!

On another note 2 very important babies in my life will be making their world debut in the next week. My best friend of 17 years Stephanie with my precious Niece Ellie and Kim & Micah will be adopting baby Tess! I can not wait to get my hands on these babies and love them like they have never been loved before! And people think I have baby fever....
