Father's Day 2013

I'm a little late but we had a great Father's Day.  We went to church, then Michael picked our (really just his) lunch choice, Panda Express.  I'm not a fan, but it's Father's Day and that's what he wanted!

Harper slept for 4 hours, so Michael did a lot of napping and watching Golf :)

After dinner and a bath Harper gave Michael his gift.  She got him a Swinging Pistol Pete Golf shirt, it matches his hat she got him for Christmas!

Harper is beyond blessed to have a daddy that is always willing to play babies, run through the sprinkler, color and forgo his show for Bubble Guppies!  He sure does love her and she is pretty smitten with him!

Mini Minnow

Harper has been taking swim lessons since since March of 2012 and is loving every second of it!  She was in Diaper Dolphins for 8 weeks and has been in Flippers ever since.

Diaper Dolphin's and Flippers are swim classes that parents swim with them to teach them the basic swimming techniques.  Harper has swam most of the time with me but a few times with Michael.

She was promoted in May to Minnows.  Which is where she swims with a teacher and 2-3 other children.  She has only done 2 classes and is still learning the rules and listening to her teacher.  She has a TON more freedom in Minnows than she had with mom and dad :)

As you can see in all these pictures...she is having the best time!!!

I also have to say she has had 2 teachers (whom we request) :) and they are wonderful!!!  They have the same outgoing personality that I do and they may be loud as well :) but Harper responds well to that and listens!  Her teachers have been amazing and we are so blessed to have them!

30 Rocks!

No, it's not me turning 30 (yet).

Jaime was the first of our group of friends to make the transition into the third decade of our lives.  And I should say that it was very Jaime!

I was a great night, we went to Jaime's best friend's house and her hubby grilled out.  We just ate, chatted and played a game of Naked (no, no one gets naked.  It's a fun game!)

Party Guests

Mysha is up next, then me :)

Jaime and all the Hubby's, they were actually very willing to take this picture

Happy Birthday Sweet Jaime!  I hope you know how loved you are!

Dallas World Aquarium

Well my sister graduated college, got a job and moved to Dallas :-/

But lucky for us there are LOTS of sights to see.  When we moved Hanna down we decided to stop at the Dallas World Aquarium.  It's going to be picture overload so enjoy!

Harper saw the anteater and yelled "EW! GROSS!"  It kept walking in front on the glass and she kept screaming "EW! GROSS!"

Feeding some birds Blueberries

I'll be honest and say that I've never seen an alligator actually move, every time I see them they are laying in the water, lifeless.  I actually watched this guy walk/slither and it was creepy.

I was just amazed how this whole thing was designed.  So far the attractions we've seen in Dallas I am very impressed!

You can't really see him but there was a Manatee behind us, in the distance.

These are some kind of Japanese fish that stick themselves in the sand....they were very weird!

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day was a not as warm as it usually is around here but that didn't stop the girls from swimming anyway!

Their teeth may have been chattering but they were having a great time, best $20 I've ever spent.

We had our friends (and now close neighbors) over Amanda and Jason and their girls Marley and Reagan.  Reagan is just 6 weeks younger than Harper and they sure do love each other!  Amanda used to work with me and then she traded in the part-time life for the corporate world...Harper and I miss them. :/

If you look close you can see Marley's blue lips :)

We also had Cara and her kiddos over too!  Who knew that 6 kids ages 2-10 would enjoy a $20 pool so much!

Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day!
